NewLogic on Recruitment drive for Sunderland based contact centre

Customer management group NewLogic has teamed up with Jobcentre Plus to recruit up 70 staff for its new contact centre on the Pattinson North Industrial Estate, Sunderland which expects to open in early spring.

NewLogic recruitment officer Victoria Hope said: "We are pleased Jobcentre Plus has been able to help us with our expansion plans by advertising the vacancies and helping out with the interviews. Some excellent candidates came along to the last open days and we were able to recruit up to 60 new staff. We are hoping for similar interest in Washington."

NetLogic is holding a jobsfair at Washington Jobcentre, Pennine House, Thursday 24th January 2008 between 10am and 2pm.

Candidates will be able to find out more about the full and part-time vacancies on offer, meet employees from NewLogic and speak to Jobcentre Plus advisers, who can help them apply for the jobs available.

Jobcentre Plus' Janet Kelly said: "People will be able to meet staff from NewLogic, ask questions about what the work involves and even apply for jobs on the day.

Staff from Jobcentre Plus will also be on hand to give information on the financial support available to move into work."
