Fusion - take on more contact centre staff

It has been announced Fusion Contact Centres is taking on 33 additional staff at their Sunderland and Peterlee contact centre.

Fusion Contact Centres part of the BGL Group, currently employs in excess of 500 staff in the north-east region and handles accounts to include Budget Insurance, Marks & Spencer, HSBC and the Post Office.

The latest recruitment campaign will create 21 full-time equivalent roles in Peterlee and 12 full-time roles in Sunderland.

Jason Turner, head of site for Fusion Contact Centres in Peterlee and Sunderland, said: “We are proud to be in the position to continue our recruitment at a time when so many other companies are announcing job cuts t is part of a planned expansion for the group, to cope with our increasing numbers of customers. We are recruiting for 33 new jobs in total and looking to get those positions filled within the next month or so.
