Les Blacker named contact centre leader of the year

Les Blacker, Customer Services manager  of Vodafone's contact centre in Warrington,  has been  named contact centre leader of the year at the World Contact Centre Awards held in Las Vegas.

The award was presented for his commitment to his team and his passion for top customer service.

Companies he was up against included Dell, Siemens, Standard Bank and Barclays and the award followed his victory at the European final.

"Together we have worked hard to deliver a first-class service for our customers," he said.

The awards are organised by ContactCenterWorld.com, the global support organisation for the contact centre industry around the world.
