Domestic & General (D&G) have announced the winners of the Brighton site’s annual employee awards at a Bollywood themed ceremony at Karma, Brighton Marina.
240 staff members turned out to see awards presented to the contact centre’s team leader of the year and the best performing agents. Trophies and travel vouchers worth £1250 were handed out to the winners Elen Page (Inbound Team Leader), Amal Hoque (Outbound Team Leader), Steve Dempster (Inbound Agent) and Imogen Morpeth (Outbound Agent).
Bollywood dancers and local band Oomph! provided the evening’s entertainment which marked the end of a successful year for the company. Bucking recent economic trends, D&G won new business in 2010 and signed an exclusive partnership with the Home Retail Group. In the last 12 months the Brighton site alone has grown to almost 700 employees and achieved an excellent customer satisfaction level of 94 per cent.
Domestic & General (D&G) provides warranty services and comprehensive product protection for more than nine million customers and employs over 600 people in Brighton.
The company’s primary focus is on providing comprehensive
product protection for major domestic appliances and consumer
electronic products. Together with its manufacturing, retail and
financial services clients D&G provides warranty services for
over 150 major UK and international brands. The company manages
the whole warranty process including customer mailing, contact
centres, repair networks, in-house administration and claims
handling.
