Job losses announced at Dyson

It has been announced by Dyson that 42 Customer Service jobs are to be lost at the companies Malmesbury based contact centre.

A spokesman for the Wiltshire-based firm said the positions were from the helpline group and a team which despatches spares. "This is due to increased reliability of our machines, intuitive, durable design and excellent first-time fix rate," he said. "Dyson is not proposing that these positions be transferred, our customer care will remain in Malmesbury."
