Contact Centre in Recruitment Drive
Damart, best known for its thermal clothing, has reported that it to create an additional 40 jobs when its contact centre's operational hours are extended from July 2009.
Managing director Andy Hill said: “We’ve had a very successful season with sales up by more than 20 per cent on the previous year and early indications are that the spring and summer collection will sell well. “We now want to further improve our service to customers by developing our contact centre to give an even better service.
“Not only will this expansion create new jobs, it will also increase flexibility for the existing 120 staff who will now have the opportunity to work in the evenings and at weekends to meet the requirements of our customers’ call patterns.”
