AXA
Health Care - planning permission granted but building put
on hold
Ashford Borough Council have granted planning permission for a new contact centre for insurance and benefit provider - AXA Health Care.
The new three storey contact centre, to be built at Repton Park, Ashford, Kent, will be 42,000 sq ft and will house up to 600 staff providing support and customer service.
AXA PPP have now confirmed that although planning permission has been granted they will not proceed with the new building due to the 'economic situation' for the foreseeable future and subsequently withdrawn their interest in the Ashford site.
