Atlantic - Preparing for November launch of
Swansea contact centre
Recruitment and training is in full swing at Virgin Atlantic as the Airline prepares to open its Swansea based customer service centre in November.
The recruitment of an initial 75 staff. which will be complimented by a total of 200 staff by 2010, who will process enquiries from US and UK travelers together with sales and members of Virgin's 'Frequent Flyers Club'.
Commenting on the
Swansea operation a Virgin Atlantic
Spokesperson said: "The recruitment process
has been up and running for the past two
months or so and we are about to embark on
our training from September onwards.
"The training takes a number of weeks and
then we expect the contact centre to be up
and running in the autumn (around November)
and we should be staffed to around 75 people
by the end of the year."
