September 2008 - CCA - Keynote Debate : Recession Bites - Will there be any winners? CCA Keynote Debate : Recession Bites - Will there be any winners?

Most businesses are now feeling some effects from the economic downturn.

Perhaps you're being forced to make budget cuts, or harder still, lose people? What impact is this having on your customer contact strategy and levels of service? How is the credit crunch affecting the conversations that your agents are having with customers? We're all aware of the need to treat customers fairly, but is the economic climate having an impact on the way that customers are responding to your staff?

Could this actually be a good time to invest more in customer contact, rather than cutting costs? Reputations can be damaged quickly, and we all know that customers want to do business with companies that have an excellent reputation for customer service. Companies who grasp this may well be those that come out of a recession a step ahead of the competition, with new customers and something positive to build on in the future.

Hear more about the effect that the current climate is having on customer service and what some of the biggest names in the industry are doing to tackle it at this year's keynote debate, on Tuesday 18 November.
