Fusion Contact Centres announce closure of Peterlee contact centre
A contact centre which celebrating its opening with a firework display by Fusion Contact Centre's Parent Company BGL Group Chief Executive Peter Winslow in March 2007 has announced the closure with 180 staff being affected.
The contact centre, a division of the BGL Group which handles calls for major insurance brands to include Budget Insurance and Comparethemarket.com, will close after a decision to consolidate its contact centre operations in the North East after the group experienced an upturn in online business thus reducing the calls volumes.
