Every little helps as Supermarket Giant takes on staff at Prescott contact centre.

Due to the success of both its Mobile and Broadband service Tesco have announced the creation of 100 contact centres.

The jobs, which are to be based at Vertex's contact centre in Prescott who handle the contract .

Andrew Higginson, chief executive of Tesco Retailing Services, said: “The telecoms market is notorious for being complex and doesn’t have the best reputation for friendly and efficient customer service. “We want to change all that by introducing the same high level of customer service that we offer across the Tesco business.”
