Liverpool Direct - Head of Public Access to represent the UK at the Contact Centre World Awards

Liverpool Direct Limited have announced that Louise Gray, Head of Public Access Service, has been named as 2010 Industry Champion and will go on to represent the UK at the Contact Centre World Awards.

In June, Louise was nominated for the 2010 Industry Champion category. The next stage involved an industry vote and it was within this round Louise fought off stiff competition from Managers of top companies including Talk Talk, DHL Express (UK), and Screwfix Direct to scoop the title.

Louise, along with 18 other representatives from around the world, will now go on to represent Liverpool Direct Limited and the UK at the Top Ranking Performers Contact Centre Industry Conference. During the conference, delegates will then select the ‘Top Industry Champion in the World’ for 2010.

Cllr Joe Anderson, Leader of Liverpool City Council, said: “Louise’s nomination demonstrates the first class customer service delivered to local residents through the council’s partnership with Liverpool Direct Limited. It is a remarkable achievement for Louise as she is representing the whole of the UK at the Contact Centre Industry Conference. This is an opportunity to share Liverpool Direct Limited’s best practice to a world wide audience and I would like to wish her the best of luck. We will all be rooting for her.”

Raj Wadhwani, President of Contact Centre World, added: "It’s exciting to see so many great people representing the industry in their country. We are delighted to have them come to our annual global best practices conference where we will assess their contribution to the global industry and allow the delegates to have the final say who will be named 2010 Global Industry Champion."

The 5th Top Ranking Performers Conference from ContactCenterWorld.com is taking place 2 – 5 November and brings together the industries key contact centres to share ideas. Delegates can share best practices such as how the industry reduces staff turnover, increase morale, improve customer satisfaction and enhance business productivity to name but a few. Following the conference the winners will be announced at the Gala Dinner.
